Unwritten: A fully improvised and co-created concert
Unwritten…
Unwritten is a fully improvised, interactive sound ceremony — a co-created concert where each note, breath, and lyric is born in the moment.
Guided by spirit, intuition, and the collective energy of the space, we blend channeled vocals, cinematic piano, and emotional storytelling into a soul-led sonic landscape. There is no plan, no setlist — only a sacred space for presence, release, and resonance.
What makes Unwritten truly unique is the way we invite the audience into the creation. Upon arrival, guests are invited to write a word, memory, emotion, or intention on a card — offerings that may become lyrics, melodies, or themes woven into the improvisation.
The music responds to what is alive in the room. Sometimes we select a theme — grief, joy, rebirth, love — and allow it to shape the unfolding journey. At times, we invite vocal participation or collective tones, gently guiding the audience to unlock their voices and join the resonance.
Unwritten is both a ceremonial concert and a participatory vocal activation, fluidly interwoven into one sacred experience.
Think: a concert meets sound healing meets oracle transmission — where the audience is part of the ritual, not just witnessing it.
Ideal For: domes, tea temples, and intimate, heart-centered stages
Themes: Presence, grief alchemy, spiritual guidance, ancestral connection, vocal liberation, collective storytelling, and the power of the unknown
We don’t come to perform. We come to listen — to what wants to be sung through us, together.

Ayaka Matsui
Ayaka Matsui is a visionary pianist, improviser, and synesthetic artist whose music bridges the mystical and the emotional. Born in Tokyo and classically trained from the age of two, Ayaka has spent her life weaving through a spectrum of genres — from jazz and funk to cinematic world music — developing a sound that is both technically masterful and deeply intuitive.
Gifted with synesthesia, Ayaka experiences music as color, emotion, and movement, allowing her to translate energy and presence into evocative soundscapes in real time. Her performances are immersive and improvisational — shaped by the mood of the room, the stories shared, and the silent truths unspoken.
Ayaka has created multimedia experiences across the world that explore nature, memory, and the unseen realms through sound and visual storytelling. Her piano becomes a portal — inviting audiences into a multi-sensory state of reflection, healing, and awe.
